Families are invited to sign up for the opportunity to take the chalice home and use it as a focus of their prayers for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and religious life. At the end of the week, the family will be responsible for returning the chalice so it can be passed on to the next family. Please contact Tom and Mele Paul to sign up or inquire about how you can support and pray for vocations. (paul6fam@verizon.net)

Attention all Catechists. It has been the longstanding policy in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston that all catechists should have received their full catechist certificate or be working toward that goal. Beyond any requirements, don’t you want to feel confident in the content you are sharing with others? Don’t you want to feel secure that you know the basic teachings of the Church and can correctly answer the questions that come your way? The Formation Toward Christian Ministry (FTCM) program offers a systematic and comprehensive foundation in the teachings of our faith. Completion of this program goes a long way toward completing the requirements for your full catechist certificate. Right now the program is being offered at St. Paul the Apostle Church. Please click on the title link for more information.
