ALTAR SERVERS
All young parishioners, ten years and older, who are baptized and have received first Holy Communion, are invited to join the ministry of Altar Servers. Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon at weekend Mass. Altar Servers also assist at other types of liturgical celebrations, such as Confirmation, weddings and funerals. Rex Moses 281-335-9064
ART AND ENVIRONMENT
This committee of volunteers takes responsibility for the beautification of the church and chapel in accordance with Church guidelines for the seasons and celebrations. They are responsible for creating a prayerful atmosphere that supports worship and compliments the liturgical season. It is not necessary to be artistic. All helping hands are welcome! CANTOR
Cantors or Leaders of Song at St. Paul are a vital part of our music ministry. Cantors must be confident in their singing before a large congregation, have a pleasing singing voice and have an active prayer life. David Rofrano 281-333-5485

CHOIR(S)
St. Paul’s Music Ministry Choirs encompass a wide variety of music styles. Our Music Ministry choir members are truly dedicated to making the liturgical music a prayerful and uplifting worship experience.

Our Children’s Choir provides an opportunity for elementary age children grades 2-6 of the parish to participate and sing seasonally, but adult support and involvement is necessary for this to become a reality.

DRAMA MINISTRY
Open to all high school teens interested in using and developing their talents in drama ministry. The drama team performs for Life Teen Mass, Life Nights, and special events. Meets Thursdays from 7:30-9 P.M. Jason Paratore 281-333-3891x38
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM (ECP)
Is a developmentally appropriate early childhood program open to all children in our community. Classes for children between the ages of 1 year to pre-K are held weekdays from 9:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. An optional Early Bird Program is available in the mornings from 8:30 AM. Various after school programs are available that extend the school day until 2:15 PM. They are: Tumblebus, Kids on Stage, The Beat Goes On and Art at Work.

A highlight of the school year is "The Week of the Young Child" with an open house and family dinner in April. Parishioners are invited to join the Advisory Board that meets monthly to support and advise the director on the implementation of this program.

ENGAGED COUPLES SPONSOR PROGRAM
Meets with couples on a schedule convenient to both engaged and sponsor couple. Ministers to engaged couples from their marriage experience, of their faith in each other and God - on recommendation from Priest or Deacon who is assisting the couple with marriage preparation. Fr. EXTRA-ORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
Extra-Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, are parishioners who assist the ordinary ministers of the Holy Communion (Priest and Deacon) with the distribution of the body and blood of Christ at Mass. A person who aspires to this ministry must be a confirmed, registered, practicing Roman Catholic who regularly shares in the Eucharist and is committed to the Catholic faith.  Training is required. . FACILITY COMMITTEE

FAMILY EVENTS
Family Events are designed for families who would like to enhance their children's CCE experience with a family experience. Various events are planned throughout the year, including Advent and Lent experiences Priscilla Munoz 281-335-5701
FAMILY FAITH FORMATION
The F.I.R.E. program in an intergenerational religious education program designed for families to share and learn about their faith together. Families meet in homes one evening a week, every other week during CCE year. Priscilla Munoz 281-335-5701
FIFTY-FIVE PLUS
Programs and assistance for those who are 55+ and for individuals who have special needs.  Meets the third Tuesday of every month in the "old kitchen" (room 10) at 9:30 A.M. Meetings include interesting speakers, fellowship, and occasional sight-seeing trips. Heidi and Cody Clark 281-335-7228
FINANCE COUNCIL
A group of parishioners who give advice and help the Pastor in the administration of parish goods.  Goals are: establish and monitor the budget; educate committees and staff members; and determine effective ways in using parish funds. The Pastor appoints members. Finance Council
FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS

GABRIEL PROJECT
The Gabriel Project provides loving support for women in a crisis pregnancy. Gabriel angels work directly with expectant mothers; prepare layettes; and other necessary supplies such as cribs, car seats, clothing, prenatal vitamins, diapers, etc .Call 713-225-5826 if you are pregnant and need help any time! HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

HEALTH CARE MINISTRY

HIGH SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION

INSTRUMENTALISTS

INTERFAITH CARING MINISTRIES (ICM)
St Paul's participates with other area churches in supporting the area's needy. Parishioners can help by volunteering at the ICM center, and by donating food and money for school supplies and other projects. Paul Seivert 281-910-0874
JUNIOR HIGH FAITH FORMATION

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

LECTORS
The lectors at St. Paul are privileged to carry on the ministry of being messengers - proclaimers - of God’s word. As a lector, you are entrusted with some of the most wonderful stories - and it is through these stories that continues to speak. Lectors challenge and comfort. LEGION OF MARY

LIBRARY (Our Church Library)
Library is open on Sunday from 8:30 A.M. until 12:15 P.M. in the foyer to Beck Hall. It's also open during the week upon request. The library provides Christian resources, references, and general materials in the form of books, periodicals, audio cassette tapes and video cassette tapes for preschoolers on up. LITURGY TECH TEAM
Sound Board Technicians - We are seeking individuals with a musical background, good musical ear and technical ability who are willing to contribute their time on a rotational basis to operate our soundboard.  These individuals serve a vital role at all our liturgical celebrations. PowerPoint Technicians - Like PowerPoint? Like to create graphics?  Volunteers are needed, on a rotational basis, to coordinate and run visual presentations especially during our Life Teen Masses. Training is available.

LITURGY PLANNING TEAM
The Liturgy Planning Team is responsible, on a rotating schedule, to prepare the weekly Sunday liturgies. From the information gathered and discussion encouraged, the team prepares the weekly Mass Planner of prayers and general intercessions.  Seasonally, the Liturgy Planning Teams gather to discuss and develop the themes for the liturgical seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter. MASS COORDINATOR (Sacristan)
The primary role of the Mass Coordinator/Sacristan is to prepare the worship space, ensure all of the sacred items needed for Mass are arranged and to make certain all assigned liturgical ministers - lectors, altar servers, ushers and greeters - are present before Mass and to find replacements for vacancies as needed. M.O.M.S - Ministry of Mothers Sharing

PASTORAL COUNCIL
Representative body of parishioners who offer consultation to the Pastor in matters that affect the implementation of the parish vision and mission and direction of the Pastoral plan. Members are discerned by the parish community to serve a two year term. Pastoral Council
PERPETUAL ADORATION
St. Paul Catholic Church has a chapel dedicated to the Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This is the adoration of the Body, Blood and Divinity of Christ present, exposed in the monstrance and placed on the altar for all to worship. Perpetual Adoration means 24/7 someone will always be present and praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament. People commit and take ownership of one or more permanent hours per week. They come and spend an hour of prayer or sit and meditate in His presence. They come to speak to Jesus heart-to-heart as a friend and enjoy the peace that comes from being in His presence. SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMITTEE
Group who addresses the issues of inhumanness and unfairness that threaten the dignity of humankind by raising awareness and seeking change through peaceful measures. SOCIAL OUTREACH - St. Vincent de Paul Society
St Paul's parishioners help the needy people of the Bay Area by offering a food pantry and financial assistance as well as moral support. We refer people to other community agencies that can counsel them and help them become self-sufficient. Collection for food pantry is the 1st Sunday of every month. We are open to clients Monday-Friday from 9:30 A.M. to 12:00 noon. Volunteers are needed to help once a week.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Every summer, children in K-5th grade go on an exciting Bible Adventure with the St. Paul Children's Ministry. VBS is held in the mornings for one week, with a special family celebration at the end of the week. Registration is required. A separate VBS for 3 and 4 year olds is also held during the same week. WEDDING ASSISTANT
Do you love weddings? Are you attentive to detail and willing to go the extra mile? Then this ministry is for you!  A Wedding Assistant supports clergy in helping to facilitate a smooth wedding celebration and to alleviate apprehension on the part of the wedding couple to make sure their special day runs as smoothly as possible. WOMEN'S MINISTRY BOARD
We sponsor both large and small group spiritual and social growth opportunities for women. Our vision is to cultivate and promote the role of women in our communities. Our goals are to give women the tools to rejuvenate themselves and their relationships, to promote leadership among women and to speak from women's perspectives on issues. Our ministry with youth includes grades 6 - 12. Youth Ministry fosters the total person and spiritual life of our young people and invites them into responsible participation in the life, mission and work of our faith community.
