Every Catholic should have a thorough understanding of Scripture. It's your family history! And it's just as important to know and understand the Old Testament as it is the New Testament, because everything in the New Testament has its roots in the Old.
St. Paul's offers several Bible studies throughout the week.
Early Risers
This men's group meets on Wednesday mornings from 6:30-7:30 a.m. They study the Scriptures that will be proclaimed at Mass the following Sunday. Participation is free.
Rise
This men's group meets on Friday mornings from 6-7:30 a.m. in the coffee shop at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel around the corner from St. Paul's. They focus on applying the Word to contemporary issues. Participation is free.
Beloved: A Bible Study for Young Adult Women
This six-lesson Bible study lays a strong foundation for your true identity as a daughter of God. We’ll learn practical tools to make God our first priority and will personally meet Jesus in the pages of His Word. The group begins Monday, July 16, and continues weekly through August 20. Meetings will take place from 7-8:30 in the conference room at St. Paul’s. Register by contacting Heidi at hclark@stpaulcatholic.org. There is a $25 materials fee to participate.
Wednesday Night Study
This long-standing Bible Study group has been meeting for several years, choosing a new study topic every few months. It's open to men and women of all ages. Contact Heid Clark at hclark@stpaulcatholic.org to find out what they currently are studying and how to sign up to join them. Participation is free; the purchase of study materials is optional.
