The Junior Legion of Mary is like the Adult Legion of Mary, a group of people trying to become Saints through personal sanctification just like God created them to be. The Adult Legionaries train and assist the Junior Legionaries, persons under 18 years of age, with their spiritual development. Weekly works, such as visiting nursing homes, rosary making and cleaning of Holy Water bowls, are done (ranging from an hour to two hours) and reported on at their weekly meeting. The works are based on maturity and are age appropriate. At the end of the year the Junior Legion of Mary hosts a social gathering for all the Junior Legionaries to enjoy and celebrate another wonderful year.
