If you are recently enggaged or are married civilly and would like to convalidate your marriage at St. Paul, we invite all couples seeking to receive the sacrament of marriage to attend an Introductory to Marriage session. These meetings are held the the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7 pm. You do not need to make any appointment or reserve your spot.
Any questions you may have can be answered at our intro sessions to help you begin the marriage preparation process.
An annulment is an official determination by an ecclesiastical tribunal that what appeared to be a valid marriage may have been civilly valid but not sacramentally valid. In finding a marriage null, the Church does not cast blame on either or both parties, even if one of them acted in a blameworthy manner. A declaration of nullity simply states that a sacrament did not exist. St. Paul's has trained and certified annulment case sponsors who will walk you through the process.
If you are seeking to get an annulment please contact the parish office at 281-333-3891.
What is New Life? New Life, is a peer ministry retreat program of couples who have the family life experience of having lost a spouse though death or divorce. Preparing for marriage for couples where one or both have lost a spouse is unique. The New Life team knows what individuals and couples who have experienced this loss go through as they rebuild and rediscover new relationships. There are particular challenges in marrying again that the New Life remarriage program addresses like no other program can. Even topics common to all couples, such as conflict resolution and finances, take on a new perspective through the lens of remarriage.
Who is New Life for?
