Today's Natural Family Planning is NOT your Grandmother's rhythm method!
In addition to NFP being the only method of family planning that is 100% organic, it also is 99% effective, morally acceptable, safe, and a great way to improve intimacy and communication in your marriage!
Two versions of Natural Family Planning are taught at St. Paul's: the Creighton Method and the Sympto-Thermal Method. It's important to research each one so you can choose the method that best suits your lifestyle.
The Creighton Method
The Creighton Method relies upon the observation and charting of biological markers that are essential to a woman's health and fertility. These biomarkers tell the couple when they are naturally fertile and infertile, allowing the couple to use the system to either achieve or avoid pregnancy. These markers also telegraph abnormalities in a woman's health. An introduction to the Creighton Method is taught one Saturday morning a month, from 10 a.m. to noon, in room 1, by certified Creighton Fertility Care practitioner, Laurel DeMary. After the introductory sessions, couples who are interested in learning more can schedule private follow-up appointments for a fee with Laurel at triumphofmary@gmail.com
