In October, the Legion of Mary is sponsoring a Pray the Rosary Campaign aimed at uniting our community with the common goal of growing in devotion and holiness together. Legion of Mary members will distribute rosary tally sheets to all who wish to participate. Participants will keep track of the number of rosaries prayed and, at the end of the month, an announcement will be made as to the final number. This is part of an effort being promoted by Fr. Victor Perez, the area Legion of Mary’s spiritual director. Fr. Victor spent his pastoral year as a seminarian at St. Paul. Contact Maria Lorenzo for more information at email legionofmarystpaul@gmail.com

Did you know there’s such a thing as a Junior Legion of Mary? The Junior Legion of Mary is like the Adult Legion of Mary, a group of people trying to become Saints through personal sanctification just like God created them to be. The Adult Legionaries train and assist the Junior Legionaries, persons under 18 years of age, with their spiritual development. Weekly works are done (ranging from an hour to two hours) and reported on at their weekly meeting. The works are based on maturity and are age appropriate. If you are interested in being part of a Junior Legion, please contact Lora Ruzicka at 281-333-3891 ext. 323 or email her at lruzicka@stpaulcatholic.org .
We are in need of more active Legionaries for the daytime and evening Praesidiums so that we may have enough members to Visit newly registered parishioners, newly Baptized, newly married; Evangelize to the youth; Catechize students in RCIC, RCIA, CCE and the homebound as well as those in nursing homes; teach others about the rosary including how to make rosaries. The list is endless! For more information click on the title link or contact Lora Ruzicka at 281.333.3891 ext. 323 or lruzicka@stpaulcatholic.org
